DESCRIPTIONThis piece was made with various fibers and hung from a piece of driftwood. Upper portion is hand knotted wool and the lower portion consists of paper raffia, cotton yarns, jute and hand spun wool. The knotted textures, sculptural structures and fringe in shades of sage are truly a dream. My raffia journey began with this piece and it captures my signature style using a multitude of textures and fibers in a monochromatic palette.
